​Jackie D'Amico founded Smart Cookies after witnessing the profound impact of COVID-19 on her own children and those in her community. Drawing on her extensive background in proposal and technical writing for businesses in Northern Virginia, she brings real-world experience and practical insight to her teaching. Jackie has worked with children of all ages, serving as a first-grade teaching assistant and as a faculty member in the English department at Strayer University. Her mission is not only to help students strengthen their academic skills, but also to foster a lifelong love of learning.
